The Agency

The Housing Authority of the County of Santa Cruz has been designated a High Performer for over 20 years, and has recently established a non-profit affordable housing division working on exciting new development plans and a resident services program. Santa Cruz County is situated at the northern tip of the picturesque Monterey Bay, with a population of almost 270,000 residents. It is ideally located 65 miles south of San Francisco, 35 miles north of Monterey, and 35 miles southwest of San Jose and Silicon Valley. The four incorporated cities within the County are: Santa Cruz, Watsonville, Scotts Valley and Capitola.
