Come join our team and make a difference in the community! We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Worker II to help ensure safe and sanitary housing for low-income families and individuals.
Position Overview
The Maintenance Worker II performs a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and landscaping, for Housing Authority-owned, leased, or managed properties. Responsibilities include responding to work orders and emergency requests, conducting preventive maintenance, and using work order systems like Yardi. This position requires the ability to work independently while ensuring properties remain in good condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and installation work.
- Maintain properties in safe and sanitary condition.
- Respond to work orders and emergency maintenance requests.
- Utilize Yardi or similar work order system for tracking and updates.
- Follow established maintenance protocols and ensure consistency in repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and motorized equipment as needed.
- Conduct annual unit inspections and assist with appliance maintenance.
Qualifications
- Prior maintenance or trade experience required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.

- Salary: $30.31–$36.85/hour
